Seems Deschamps has invited him to Marseille.

Deschamps would welcome Del Piero
By Football Italia staff

Marseille boss Didier Deschamps has invited Juventus idol Alessandro Del Piero to join him in Ligue 1 next season.

The 37-year-old will leave Turin in the summer once his contract at the Old Lady expires, but he will play on.

“I have respect for what Alex has done in his career,” Deschamps told Rai Sport. “He’s a champion whom I have had the good fortune to have as a teammate and then a player.

“If he chose to come to Marseille then I would welcome him with open arms.”

Deschamps played alongside Del Piero in Turin, before the Frenchman took charge of the club’s Serie B campaign after Calciopoli which led to instant promotion.

Del Piero is expected to carry on his playing career outside of the peninsula once he does end his Bianconero love affair.

I wouldn't say disappointed but he reminded me of Capello's reaction to a Del Piero free kick goal.
How's that? Capello's face reaction was right after Del Piero's goal, matter of 2seconds if not less (If you're talking about the Inter freekick goal) whereas when Pirlo scored the camera-man showed Ale after the celebration was almost over. [25seconds after Pirlo's goal] after checking the replay now.

Not even Pirlo himself celebrated for more than 15seconds.

Their reactions show incredible resemblance. Both are showing calmness and, almost, indifference. Capello "celebrates" more than half of the goals his team scores in the same manner. Still this forum managed to come with the silliest theory ever, that Capello was actually mad that Del Piero scored the goal. If that's the case then Del Piero was mad that Pirlo scored a free kick goal. Either both are true or both aren't true. You can make your choices.

These are only 10 seconds in question (22:05, 22:08, 22:12, 22:15)

:howler: What a silly rubbish conclusion, Alen.

The forum managed to come with the silliest theory? You weren't even a member in 2006 to begin with. I see you joined in 2007, Ale's freekick goal against Inter was in 05-06 season.

And I don't remember anyone saying Capello was mad because Ale scored.

Did you even check Pirlo's goal on youtube or you just took snapshots? There are more than 20 seconds difference from the moment Pirlo's freekick hits the net until the camera-man showed Dp's face. 20seconds +.

Post the link of the goal instead of posting snapshots ;)
