messi hasn't done shit by himself yet....you can't compare them. different class.
Not only Messi but nowadays players depend a lot on their speed. Once they lose their speed and age, they wont have anything to rely on.

I can't see Messi or Ronaldo pulling the things they do on the field now without speed.

I remember Baggio criticizing that.
he did mention it several times. he had great speed when he was young but strangely became better when he lost his speed due to injuries and age but he was very intelligent, for me he's the most intelligent player ever. if you put his brain on Ale body it would make a perfect player.. I'm not saying that Ale is not intelligent player but Baggio was dragging players on his way to create to other and could all of sudden twist them all when they take their eyes off when they look at his team-mates. Ale on the other hand is very skillful and could pass through the defense by his skills and feints. two great players, it is an absolute honor to have been able to watch him all these years. sad for this generation to watch a players with less class... dominating in a weak league and thinking they are the best ever.

Everyone, let's all have a Del Piero avatar until June or beyond. So whenever an alien visits our site he or she knows that he might not be on the pitch often but he will never leave our hearts. Honor!

That esoesgallo video was almost too touching :touched:

We have to beat Roma so Ale has at least 2 more games in Coppa semi-final, possibly against one of Milano teams :lick:

Ale: I want to congratulate two of my special friends. Trezeguet and Totti. David for his first goal with River, I know he always had a dream to one day return back to Argentina and he finally did it. Totti, scoring 211 goals with the same jersey is a great achievement and you deserve it my friend.
