Dear David,

The moment has come to say good bye. I’ve given up counting the seasons we played together and the goals we scored. Surely we are the couple that scored the most goals in the whole Juve history, more than Charles and Sivori - two great champions - you know that well, and we are both proud of it.

How many line-ups during these years were always like that: Del Piero and Trezeguet, Trezeguet and Del Piero. How many victories, and disappointments (luckily much less than satisfactions we managed to get), how many hugs: there wasn’t another team mate I played with more than with you.

Seventeen goals a year in average, like your jersey number: that’s more than enough to prove what kind of bomber you are. But I, who played by your side, don’t need any numbers. I’m honoured to have played in a pair with, no doubt, one of the world greatest forward. Now we go different ways, it happens in football. I’ll say good bye to you in our changing room, but I also wanted to do so in public: good luck for your new adventure. We’ll keep a lot of memories to share, for the next time we see each other.

Good bye, David.

Your team mate Alessandro

I don't despise any of the clubs you mentioned because they are suddenly rich. Juventus are what we are because at one point of time we had a family pumping money into the club, just like it is with Man City, Chelsea, PSG etc. right now.

Paolo Maldini: It saddens me to see what Ale is passing through. The Juve mang should have given him the choice to choose whether he wants to continue at the club or stop.

Paolo also mentioned that there are some people at Milan's club that are against his come-back as being a part of Milan's mang. "Some people at Milan don't want me back".

Man, it would have never ever crossed your mind that both Paolo and Ale will be treated terribly from their club's Mang.

Not only that, but he barely plays even though we're struggling up front :sergio:

Anyone with a brain. You play him for 5min or less, you shouldn't expect the best of him.
I don't expect him to do wonders or to play exeptionally when he is given so little time, but to score from few meters with his head, yeah I expect him to be able to pull that off no matter how fit he is.

You can't blame him for that though.
I don't, I just expect him to score on those chances. And when he doesn't I don't try to find excuses I just see for what it is, a failed 100% chance. No matter how fit or how much playing time you get you should score those, specialy when you have 20 years expirience as a striker. And if he can't convert on those, how can you argument him starting or playing more?
