In my very, very humble opinion I think Conte was trying to kill Napoli off on a last counter, which is why he put Quag and DP on so late in the game. And it did almost work, if Quag's ball had only reached Del Piero on that counter as he had intended, Capitano would've been one-on-one with the keeper.

I don't care if the sub is about fucking Monica Bellucci in Napoli's area, you don't put Alessandro Del Piero for one mintue. Don't even argue with me about this.
Well thats the difference, I feel that he should be treated just like anyone else in the squad, it's professional football, not sunday friendly game with friends.

And if Chiellini passed the ball just a second earlier he would have been also one on one with the keeper and not offside......

What treatment? You wouldn't be happy with any treatment he will have unless it's playing every match, since he is still useful. I don't care how and when they choose to sub him in or out, he is one player of a squad and that's it.

Forza Conte, finally a coach that has some balls to show authority. Wasn't it the thing that most wanted, o coach with balls to instill the Juve spirit back?

Oh yes, treat Del Piero like you treat Pepe, Esti, Giacci and the rest :agree:

If you were in-front of me now I would break your face.

Yeah I agree with Rab and Co, even though I am very happy with what Conte has brought to this team, DP shouldnt be treated this way...why even bring him on for those 2 mins? It was really unncecessary. Shitty way for the man to get his 700th appearance.

so basically people want to have an as roma scenario with totti, where a player who is clearly past it should be considered more important then the team ?

give del piero his charity minutes when we are up 2 goals against a low table team, but in one of the hardest games of the year, he is just another player of the team to grab the victory.

forza conte for showing balls and who is the boss of the dressing room

He is not that, Raz. Conte picks the starting men, his team is great, props to him for making an excellent team which has excited all of us again after years but Alex is not just one squad player you would use so that the substitution process would kill the last seconds. There always Giacs and Krasic's for that purpose.
Agreed, that he shouldn't have been used like this in this match, I just got into discussion because I feel that people wouldn't get satisfied even if it were different circumstances and it was a sub in 87th min and not a timewaisting one, just to let him play, they would still complain, that he doesn't get 30+ min playing time.

And what I meant by equal in the squad, is that he should be judged on current abilities not historic ones. When he retires we can build as many statues as it is possible to save his legacy.

Oh and what really pisses me of is that everybody was drooling for an strict coach, and now when DP gets the beating but Juve is doing fantastic in god now what time, fuck the coach.

win time by bringing on the best player to do so

if we had the ball, give it to alex, he'll then has to be fouled of it.
worked perfect against inter

also, timewasting sub offc
