Sometimes I'm thinking to myself and saying.... Del Piero shouldn't be playing more with these garbage around him. He's too big for this. But then again if we let him go in these situations Juventus would look like a club without identity.

I'm so upset it's most likely he will not play CL anymore because of his awful, horrible players and coach surrounding him.

One of my friends is a Man Utd fan, and he sent me link to their forum, where they've opened a special thread to salute Ale after what he said.

:touched:

Legend is not enough to describe him
We gave him a standing ovation in 2008. I think the last one to get such applauds @OT was the fat Ronaldo.

so this may seem like a dumb question, but does a blank contract mean playing for free? or does it mean the contract will be signed for formality and the terms & conditions (salary) will be determined at a later date?

That means that whatever the wage might be(because it hasn't been decided yet) DP will sign it. Meaning that he's signing just anything to stay in Juve.
If they wanted it, boards could make DP to play for free and he wouldn't be able to do anything about it. Although, they wouldn't dare doing something like that to the legend of the club
