What, you disagree?? He's a starter now due to history, certainly not for footballing quality. It's kinda like when Baggio went on his final years in Chievo (or was it Brescia?).
What history? Trez broke all sorts of records with Juventuz & is our highest goalscoring foreigner, yet he didn't get a starting spot for nostalgic reasons.

Are you really trying to say that Amauri or Iaquinta deserve to start ahead of Del Piero? Baggio wishes he could've finished his career in Turin.

But this 37 year old player brings you more millions than his wages...:lol: Now I'm convinced you are dumb!!!
Do you have hard facts on how much money he brings to the club? Most of the praise Del Piero has these days is more like lip service, I doubt there's any real amount of money in him being in the team anymore.

It doesn't matter either way, bring a suitable replacement, and stick Del Piero in a Juve office somewhere, keep him visible in the stadium, press and photo shoots and you'll have even more of a revenue stream.

Do you have hard proof that he was guaranteed a starting spot every season?

Trez is a special case though, he had been trying to leave for a while, so maybe that's why they let him go. And no, I'm not retarded, neither Amauri or Iaquinta deserve a starting spot, it's just that we weren't wise enough to bring a suitable replacement last year or this year either.

I agree, Baggio wishes he could've finished his career in Turin like Del Piero but I rather have good memories of Baggio killing it in Juve than of the present limping Del Piero.

Oh come on, it's pretty obvious when you have a guaranteed spot when you look at a squad, unless there's a genius youngster or something but other than Barca or Arsenal that wasn't very likely.

Come on, this is pretty obvious for anyone, the guy is a positive legend, respected and loved all over Europe and somewhere even outside it. I really think that the bigger part of the Juve shirts sold has his name on them, do you really think photo shoots can provide more revenue than millions of shirts?

Come on this argument is going nowhere. Okay, VicCB think Ale's wages is a waste of money and he's washed out, so be it. DP fans, chill out, DP has endured far worse before and he usually shuts his critics one way or another.

Didn't you mention 20+ goals next season? I think I'll be healthy for a long, long time based on your prediction. ;)
Actually I didn't, it was Azzurri who said it and I said it will be fatal for you. The stroke is unavoidable, it'll come in four goals. The symptoms are appearing already.

What's obvious to you is not obvious to others, refer to Azzurri's second question to you.

You know, it's funny how easy you wish death on others for not agreeing with you.

This is a waste of time, agreed with whoever posted that. Carry on, you Twilight like fans.

Where did I wish you death? I am worried about you, each time Del Piero scores you are a step closer to a stroke. Do something about it before it's too late. Do something about understanding English while you're at it.
