The last pic Rab is on the game we had against Inter at San Siro. Ale hit the post with a sick shot in that game. We conceded in the last minutes.

I never understood the whole fuss about Diego, I never saw him make the team stronger, I never saw him take things on his responsibility, I never saw him finish matches, I never saw him what many are making him to be. He is a good player, he can do the team well but he is far far far from being a key player that makes a difference. If the team is not strong, Diego would not make an addition, we all saw how he was forced to track back and once he does that he disappeared. We all saw how easily he was marked and played out of the game, we all saw his free kicks.
Sab said it millions of times last season, Diego is a player that has to have the whole team working for him in order to produce and she was right. So tell me, why create a whole team for one player and when this player is injured or suspended the team would stop functioning? Why create such a team and when it's time to sell the player you have to start all over again?

this reminds me of when i once got in trouble at school for not showing up for a class, when the school called my mom to let her know she replied: well i fault you for not having classes interesting enough to keep my son in them you cant convince her that i could ever do wrongAs a matter of fact, I agree with most of the things you said. Not only Sab, I too said the same things and saw flaws in Diego that many others refused to see.
But this particular team we had in August (with all players in right places, without injuries) looked ok to me and looked better with Diego as a SS, or at least it looked better with Diego instead of Quagliarella. Imo, it looked better with Diego instead of this current Del Piero too.
So it's not about if Diego was capable of bringing trophies to Juve (I personally never saw that quality in him) but if the team was stronger with or without him.

What a hatred towards Alex all o a sudden.. I might not be very familiar in posting here.. but reading thro these pages, I wanted to write what i feel.. sorry for offending anyone if i had.
One thing is certain.. if he played a part in rainieri, ciro leave it would have been with a reason.. He definitely knows this team better than any of you here.. You just cant play for 15 years in a club without loving it in and out.. He has been part of juve that did wonders, he was part of juve that almost burned to the ground.. If he does something it has to be for the betterment of the club..
And like Wahdan said.. Diego leaving was not wrong.. not finding a replacement of batter quality was the mistake..

IMO, the only mistake in the sale of Diego is not buying a replacement.
