Ohhhhh, very dangerous statement. Extremely dangerous.
:agree:

If you say Alex helped you when you were the coach, they would say you are an inept coach for not blaming your poor results on Del Piero. If you say there was something wrong with the team, they would take it as if you have targeted Del Piero.

Whatever Ranieri meant, he would have had his ass kicked much earlier if it wasn't for Del Piero.

ranieri is too much of a gentlemen and a purist to say anything, but it was plain obvious.
Well, he did lose the locker room. Right before he lost the locker room two things happened:
1. We were playing bad and risked to miss out on direct CL qualification, with a small chance to even lose the CL qualification.
2. He benched Del Piero for 2-3 matches.

Any of the two (or maybe even both together) could be the reason why he lost the locker room and losing the locker room might have been the main reason why he was fired (although, tbh, it might have not been the reason. Though that's a smaller chance).

We don't know that yet. Ranieri indeed never went public even if in disappointment he said that he will reveal the truth.
I did come to the same conclusion as you did, though.

But no proof yet :D

As a coach he must have known that it was Del Piero why he lost the locker room. Alex started it against him, the other players followed him and the board kicked him out. Still, saint Claudio decided not to talk about it to the media :touched:

Are we trying to divert the attention from Diego's quote above? I'd be careful because you never know if Claudio might decide to go public too after he heard Ciro and Diego.

What amazes me, is that, some turned out to be masters of assumptions and almost dream readers speaking on behalf of Del Piero and turning him into the 21st evillest sportsman.

But one question, apart from Ferrara, why hasn't anyone accused Del Piero of something? Why hasn't anyone mentioned his influence on the team? Are they afraid of him? Will he execute them? Stone them?

Or Capello, Didier, Ranieri, Zach, Lippi, ex players, ex management were bunch of lairs and afraid of revealing the truth? Bad boy Ale.

I can't see why I should take Diego's words seriously when he changed them every three hours. There is something wrong with him in the mind. Might be the bitterness after not being acknowledged as a champion like Trez though.

he lost the locker room because a certain someone was being the class clown, and refused to be an adult and actually try of course everyone else will follow suit, and no one in the management stepped up to help him with that.

Because none of them was so classless to blame their poor results on a player or two or to call them donkeys.

You are assuming things, I'm giving you facts. Saint Claudio would have been sacked much earlier if it wasn't for the certain someone.
