Now that Ale sold Diego, do you think he injured Amauri too? He injured Iaquinta before the season started too? Do you think he is also why we sold Trez?
You seriously underestimate the sheer PR power Del Piero has in Turin. Sections of the Juve tribune loathed Diego already for taking ADP's spot and in the dressing room he's the most influence. Didn't Ferrara say he had troubles handling ADP because of his insistence on playing each game?

The same old typical argument in here after every match in Serie A on Del Piero and his mission to kill Juventus.

1 on going, 37 to go.

Yes I'm more of a Del Piero fan rather than a team fan and I have never denied that. I have also always said that nothing is more sad to me than seeing Ale struggling to play. I don't mind you criticizing him after a bad performance. What I can't even understand is some of you guys sooooo filled with bullshit that you believe it was Ale why we sold Diego.
Thank you! I have nothing to talk with you about from now on. Don't worry, he'll perform in the Europa League when playing against great opposition like Sturm Gras, so be happy.

:wth: Not any of Alex' fans believed he should have started over Diego. If anything, everyone was looking for another formation in which both could play. What I want to know is that why didn't we sell Diego when Wolfsburg offered 17m? We knew he was gonna take Ale's spot in a 4-4-2 so why did we wait at all?

who can we get now? It's too later, we only have 2 days left

need Benzema ASAP

its a risk we need to take, upfront and creativity wise were just awful
A player like Benzema that can score off half chances is definitelty needed

Suarez, Forlan, Cassano! Any of these could help and do better than Del piero as a supporting striker. Del piero is not a full match players any more. He is old, slow, and too incosistant these days so he is better off as a substitute

Nice way to dodge what you have no answer for.
No, but it's simple, you already told me that you hold Del Piero's well being over Juventus', while I am on the opposite side. What can we possibly discuss? The guy is a cancer to the team, but we'll never agree, and for you a few random good free kicks is enough to keep him around and keep wanking over him.

Sorry Hoori, but it's clear as day that it is the reason! Then how do u explain the sale of Diego? A player who had put Ale on the bench during pre-season, who the coach was clearly counting on to bring crativity to the team is just miraculously sold within a matter of days?

The whole situation stinks of locker room politics. It is time to thank hom for what he has done and let him decide whether he wants to stay here and be a super-sub for the good of the team or if he rather have first team football elsewhere. Though we do not have to treat him quite as brutally as RM did Raul.

When i was saying this to the end of last season everybody here was chastising me. Only now people are starting to agree with my point of view.

A Cassano Benzema offensive line would be mouth watering, but with fucking Quagelaelaelaela in the team it's not going to happen.

Del Piero was kinda forced to play the whole match today,it was Del Neri's fault, although his free kicks could have been much better, but all in all,he did what he does best, getting free kicks and keeping the ball at his feet while no other players today dared to dribble even a little, except for Krasic and Melo and they were both wrongly subbed..I dont think Del Piero would mind becoming our super sub,and i think its time for him to take that supersub role

:agree:

its a sad day when some fans turn on perhaps the best ever juventus player, definitely up there.
Nobody is turning on him. He is a legend and our greatest player for sure, but the club is more important than any player including Del piero.
Let's be honest, he is not what he used to be. Too inconsistant and will play the one odd good game every now and then. He should be benched, but the problem with Italian football/coaches that they don't like to change and they are still stuck in the past.

honestly this has to stop, Del Piero does not run the fucking club!

Del piero did not make our formation a 4-4-2, in which Diego apparently did not fit in.

Alex shouldnt retire, but i agree Alex should start, this conspiracy theory bullshit is fucking ridiculous.

Everyone is trying to destroy the club, Del Piero is a cancer...a fucking cancer, thats disgraceful, what a disrespectful thing to say to a legend that has given his all for the club, you know you have run out of people to blame when this happens.

but of course the next time he scores we will all jump on the bandwagon.
