I'd show more respect for him if he had retired and let space for the new generation to succeed him. He is way too popular and it doesn't surprise me if that's part of the reason why the manager wanted to get rid of Diego, you simply can't leave Del Piero out of this team.

He has been a fundamental part of the team, but it's time to move on instead of seeing him play like shit and cling to his glory years. Why haven't we started to build around someone else? Because Del Piero is still playing and wants to play and no one will deny him that.

And again, being a Juve fan doesn't equate to being in love with Del Piero. I demand performance every year, and if a player is past it, despite the history, it's time for the player to move on.

To me, nothing is better than watching Ale celebrating a goal and that goal was just wow. As much as I love him though, I hope this goal doesn't make the board stop looking for a SS to replace Diego with and by that I don't mean Quag for signing him basically means that we are going to merely rely on Ale in the EL. I hope Cassano comes.
