Del Piero made and is making history at Juve..age is not a problem as long as his body is helping him
He's a legend already, I doubt anyone would deny that.

How is his body helping him? I doubt you'll see him start matches against English clubs, or some away matches in Europe. His radius of movement is very small, which isn't anything weird really.

Don't attempt to reason with the Del Piero lovers; you will eventually get....

NOWHERE!

They think with their emotions, rather than resorting to logic or reason, and they tend to be extremely biased!

In any case, Del Piero should be used as an impact sub a la Giggs @ Manchester United. We can't develop a formation to suit him and start him every match. It's simply not feasible or worthwhile, given that he does not represent the future. We need to look ahead, not delude ourselves by continuing to be stuck in the past, or choosing to prolong the present!
who was Juve's top scorer last season?

Pretty much agreed.

It's a matter of pay now or pay later.

Building a team for the future needs to start now.

I can't deny that I've always enjoyed to be labeled as a Del Piero lover. But I also can't deny not thinking that if people call me/us Del Piero lovers which is something normal (because you can not love Juve and be a Del Piero hater) this leaves people like you as Del Piero haters no?

Sounds fair, I'm the Del Piero lover and you are the Del Piero hater since you label us as Del Piero lovers this leaves you on the other side no?. If this is the case I think I make more sense cheering for this team than you IMHO.

In a 4-4-2, I don't see why anybody should have a problem with Del Piero starting.
See!! When I read posts like this I turn into a very neutral unbiased person. I say to myself, let the best players start. Be it Ale, Diego, Zalayeta.

But when someone has to bring age into every single post when arguing about Ale then it's a total different story.

Zalayeta! Damnit, we should trade DP to get him back!

Planning ahead and building for a sustainable future isn't disrespecting Del Piero. We need to start finding ways we can be successful without Del Piero, and that only comes from experimentation.

But we're not so there shouldn't be any problems in Del Piero playing.
