And none of those should've been pk's in the first place.

I'm just trying to look at it critically, irrespective of how the team/other players played and imo it is one of his worst seasons.
He didn't played half of the season, you should look at that too.

It's one of his worst seasons in the worst Juve in many years. Still at the age of 36, he has been one of our better players even though he lost a big part of the season due to injuries.
35. End of this year he's 36.

Poor season for him and by his standards, yet the whole team has been extremely disappointing. He has been one of the bright spots, despite his poor season, in an otherwise forgettable year for us.

I still think he shouldn't be starting next year, and that we should look ahead to the future; I think a role as impact sub a la Giggs @ Man United would be ideal for him.

And what is your reasoning for that? I need explanations.
Because playing Ale means either 4-4-2, which means no Diego (and presently, no creative midfielder in the center), or a 4-3-1-2, which benches Giovinco and plays Candreva or Camoranesi out of position, while exposing our fullbacks. I personally would alternate between a 4-2-3-1 with Diego as the AMC, and a 4-4-2 with Ale partnering someone up front, depending on what our game plan is.

Thank you for the explanation.
