As for the race for the 4th place
“We have won today and obviously we are happy as much as it is possible to be happy in our situation. Now, crossing the fingers, let’s hope we’ll play in the same way three remaining games. What we don’t have to do , even if we are oblige, is to look too much at the results of other teams. First of all, let’s think about ourselves. To get to the fourth place would be extremely tough, but we have to believe we can do it because we really want it ”.
Injures and other problems.
We’ve got a rather extraodinary injury situation, it is quite clear that our team suffered from the lack of active players , and even without trying to find an excuse it is absolutely evident that the above mentioned situation influences a lot the team perfomance. Apart from that, there are a lot of things that didn’t work, that’s why we found ourselves in the present situation. But we still have three matches to play and we have to be concentrated on these games, then we’ll have a look at the table and talk it over.
As for “no substitution”case
“No such case, I have already taken off the captain band and was heading to give it to Buffon and in that moment I noticed Marchisio on the ground, there was a confusing moment, because the substitution has been already asked for. And I was trying to show that Claudio, probably, wasn’t able to play on… After all, better like that, because it was the last substitution and if I had left the pitch, we’d have played in ten”.
