Your formations are all nice and attractive. But I'd go with fewer modifications and hope this would appeal to Lippi (if he is reading this thread that is hehe).

Buffon

Zambrotta - Cannavaro - Chiellini - Santon

Camoranesi - Marchisio - De Rossi

Cassano

Amauri Del Piero

Bench:
Amellia
Motta
Legro
Grosso
D'Agostino
De Cegli
Pirlo
Gattuso
Giovinco
Totti
Pazzini
Iaquinta

This is your 23 players NT. A good mixture between experience and youngsters.
In addition it has 7 bianconeri in the starting 11 and 4 on the bench (could be more depending on the summer signings).

This is a world cup winner squad no doubt.

These are considered historical jerseys and as Seven said they are quite expensive. They run between 100-150 Euros depending on the jersey..

Just keep an eye at juvestore. they seem to come and go.

Giuseppe Rossi deserves to start ahead of anyone in my opinion, and yet none of you have him in your starting formation. Some of you have even eliminated him from your subs bench :andyandbarcelona: :shifty: Are you guys doing this on purpose so as not to upset Andy? :p

Rossi with Gilardino or Amauri to lead the front line. Cassano should be picked, but Lippi has something against the guy.

Rab, Seven, do you know why DP decided to like #7 all of a sudden?
In 2001 Del Piero decided to give number 10 to Totti because he had an exceptional season with Roma and because he thought he deserved it at that time, so he had to pick 7 which was free at the time Stefano Fiore wasn't selected and injured.

He kept number 7 and Totti kept number 10. But I think it would have been nice from Totti to return it back after Ale had extraordinary season 02-03.

You don't expect Del Piero to call his number 10 back. He's too class for this.

I was really annoyed by that, I'm sure you were too.
What was annoying to me is that Totti always preferred Roma to his NT, and he has said that several times, that he would rather win titles with Roma than Italy. Del Piero on the other hand really loved representing Italy, the man has been playing out of his position, benched, treated terribly at times yet he still wants to give his all for the Azzurri. (up till now)

This thing disturbed me a lot. One gives his heart for the Azzurri the other plays just because he has to play. Number 10 is Ale's number more than Totti.

Bah, he stopped scoring for Italy. Just stopped completely. From what I remember in the last games he played he was very poor.

It's so sad that he could never match his Juve form.
