I’m still becoming very emotional, entering the stadium and hearing the roar of thousands people. It happens often. But the emotions I felt on Monday night, coming out of the tunnel at the Olympic stadium, was something completely different. May be because “La Partita del Cuore” is completely different. I like it, starting already from its name. Because it has to do with the heart and with the passion. The force that makes me keep on going, straight forward. It was different, because for one night 27.000 hearts – plus those, who were watching at

home- had the same beat, the same aim to reach, the same match to win. We played the same music and , taking into consideration all the singers present, we couldn’t be, but tuneful. No different banners, no different colors, just one and the same choir: united to help the associations, that were chosen to receive the funds, earned with tickets and messages sent.

I was both pleased and honored to have been chosen by National singers team to be the captain of the opposite team and to play this match in Turin. It was also a perfect occasion to meet a lot of friends and to spend some time together. It was all fast but intense. Do you remember your childhood days at the park or at the Sunday church school? At first, we were in two, one had to choose his team mate and so did the other and so on and so forth until we were in 11 against 11. More or less, this was exactly the idea of my team, “Ale10+” was born with the same spirit and to watch it playing, was just fantastic.

I had the right to pick up my team mates as once had the right those who brought the ball from home. Let’s say that this time i brought the stadium. Ok, I know, it’s not mine, but I play here…. I was given the permission to use it and i did my utmost to organize it all perfectly well. I couldn’t cut a poor figure!!!

And now, that it is over, I have the memories of a wonderful night.

“La partita di cure” is the magic that repeats itself every year, because in this match we are all the winners and it’s not necessary to wait for the final whistle to know the result. Our victory has a name , solidarity, help to those in need. I think we can say we have made it and we also enjoyed it a lot.

Thank you all. From the bottom of my heart.

Alessandro

This Tiago hasn't done one useful thing at Juventus and now that everyone is calling him a girl he wanted to prove his point on Il Capitano. Kick that female out of the squad ffs.
