You got other type of people that couldn't stand Del Piero mainly because their fav player (Zlatan, Inzaghi, Di Vaio, Miccoli, Palladino) didn't really step in or were loved as much as Del Piero was/is.

I dont think that player being symbol has any influence in this, in my opinion all you need is to be very good and have a solid fanbase, then theres no escape :) the better and more likable you are the more stick youll get. And yeah its annoying when after one bad game a player sudenly becomes bad :melayyanandmessi:

As for the favorite player, i totally agree, i remember back in the day when Inzaghi was playing with us, I used not to like him because of their bad relationship with DP :D but didnt went overboard, didnt bash the guy :)

Nevertheless, this guy is the only guy I'd accept to take Ale's role in the future. Other than him, would be a simple No. Since Ale likes him and he sees him as a great talented player for Juventus, then let it be.
