There are rumors that ale will take a role in midfield a Pirlo type of role so he can play a couple of more seasons. what do you think? should he do that? would he be good in that of role?

tuttosport reported that he was used in that role in trainings at one point and that he might consider playing there
So Del Piero filled that gap in a training game (probably when the international call ups were away) and Tuttosport put two and two together and came up with a BS story.

pirlo cannot defend..just as dp...and dp's long/short passes and his vision is just like pirlo's...i think he can play that position..but he won't ...he played forward all his life and that's the way he will retire.

It is so going to be sad and ugly to know that Del Piero wont be on the field when he retires. I can't help myself but it really saddens me a lot.

Really ugly part in football.
I'd finally get to watch a Juventus game without hoping DP does well though. Today I want Juventus to win in the first place, but something doesn't feel quite right if Del Piero had a bad game. The way I see it, when he retires I have to worry less.

It works both ways tho, doesn't it? I mean if we lost 4-3, with Del Piero having a hattrick, at least I have smth to console myself with.
