I calculated all his official free kick goals

In serie A : 18 goals
In European Cups: 12 goals (all in CL)
In Coppa Italia: 3 goals
In Serie B: 5 goals

Total: 38 official freekicks scored for Juventus

For Italy he scored 6 free kick goals

To sum up, he scored 44 official free kick goals in his career.

:delpiero: :delpiero: :delpiero:
Do you think he's aware of these figures?

Yes. I don't think football players forget the goals they score. In fact, I'm pretty sure Del Piero remembers every single goal he has scored in his professional career.
I doubt that. Over 250 goals in over 15 years...It'd take a serious memory to be able to recall every single one of them.

He says he remembers them all in an interview, in fact, he said the stats is wrong and he should have 1-2 goals more :D

It's not a debate, they are trying to find how much is left to beat Mihaijlovic's record.
Ah, my bad.

Not really. 250 events you consider to be important and you've been the main actor in all of them. I would take a pretty weak memory not to remember them. He might not remember goals in friendlies.

I don't think so. They don't bother with numbers at all.
Although some of them, like Inzaghi for example, remember all their goals and if you ask them how did they score against, lets say Piacenza in 1998, they will know.
Because Inzaghi would answer with my butt or my shoulder or it ricocheted on my waist and it would be almost correct.

I can remember virtually every goal I have seen Aberdeen score over the last 15 years or so.

I'm sure Del Piero remembers at least 90% of them.

 Good point

Seriously, when SKY made the video of all his european goals (when he became #1 topscorer in european cups) one or two goals from the Intertoto season with Juve were missing. The match was played somewhere in Cyprus i think, and they didn't have a video of those goals. Inzaghi had to explain how he scored those goals and he seemed to remember the whole action. Who passed, who crossed the ball and how he scored the goal.

So we need 11 more :D
The thing is that in our last 5 matches he hasn't taken more than 3 freekicks. It's pretty funny because every team we're facing they're trying not to foul in the danger zone [using it as a tactic to prevent such goals].

These are the teams that did NOT commit any foul even from 30meters starting from Inter game, here's the list that I remember (Inter, Genoa, Reggina[1foul only], Atalanta.

Here's what Siena coach stated right after the game "I have warned my players to prevent making fouls where Alex can easily use them. It happened, he took it perfectly and there was nothing we could have done. Apart from his Freekick we were on par with Juventus."

He can easily beat Mijahlovic's record if given chance.

That crazy Mihajlovic didn't have that problem. Half of his goals were scored from +30 metres, outside the danger zone, where more fouls are made.
And i agree with you. Teams are very careful not to foul our players in the danger zone. This is where Giovinco could be very helpful, imo. Seba is so fast and technical that even if they don't want to, the opposition defenders make fouls over him.
Ranieri will really have to think about that because DP's free kicks can be the difference between a great and an average season for Juve.

Mihajlovic's +30meters was a bit better than Alex. (so you can imagine if someone is a bit better than Ale how easily he can score from Fks)

I agree about Seba, he's short + fast, there's no way they wouldn't foul him. On the other hand, Pavel should be given credits for always being smart and given Ale his brilliant Fk goals throughout his career.
