Talking about Zlatan and ĵџvє_вãвγ's first picture is really a coincidence. How Amauri and Del Piero found a way to work together in so little time is just amazing. How Zlatan and Del Piero couldn't do that in two years makes one wonder.

well Zlatan and Amauri are diff. kinds of FWs...Zlatan is similar to Ale in the sense that he also plays as a SS...Ale needs to be the main man in attack, as does Zlatan so it makes sense that it wouldn't work

I like our current squad more than any other squad we had in the last at least 6 or 7 years.... bunch of modest players, giving their 100%, playing for the badge, you can tell that no tension ever took place.

I remember one day Capello taking Ibra out, was like the 1st time he takes him so early from the game and Ibra refused to even look at his face or shake his hand, he later on before leaving to the tunnel, he looked at Capello and insulted him.

I can't remember what game though. Siena probably, not sure. we played away.

I agree. I love our squad this season more than many of the previous ones. I feel a team spirit and I feel the way they work together.

I think it has got a lot to do with our old guard... its not easy for youngsters and new players to integrate into a squad... someone new always need a lot of encouragement to get the confidence to be part of the team... the way this bunch of players have integrated shows how much support they have received from within the club...

Amauri needs to stop bitching so much with his team mates though, it reminds me of Henry at Arsenal. He has to understand that all of them are technically gifted and he might get some bullet passes at around waist level from time to time.:D

Have you guys noticed something about our last 2 corner goals? (Chiellini vs Milan and Legro vs Atalanta)

Milan and Atalanta had gone for zonal marking, just getting a line of players along the 6 yard line and those players all moving out to attack the ball rather than attempting to man mark.
I wanted to mention this after the Milan match because it looked to me like Del Piero spotted that Milan had set up their defensive line very deep in anticipation of an in-swinging corner, and he then put the cross just far enough out to be beyond the reach of Milan's defense. But i thought that maybe it was just a coincidence.

Then i saw that he did exactly the same thing against Atalanta, who also set up their defensive line deep, and i realized that it wasn't a coincidence. We've prepared for this situation on trainings and now we scored twice in a row.

I noticed he talked to Legro a little bit before that corner kick. Pointed a little, I thought it was nothing, but it just so happen to be Legro that runs from deep and exploits that space just infront of the defenders. No coincidence.

They were concentrating too much on Chiellini.
