This is what happened during halfime at Juve's games against Roma and Chievo.

Vs Roma..
1st analyst, " Alessandro Del piero as always is there for Juve. He scores another excellent freekick, what did you think about it?"

2nd analyst, " no comment on this goal".
(laughs and chuckles)

Vs chievo

1st analyst," Alex ALex Alex, he does it again. Incredible. What did you think".

2nd analyst, "No comment"

Alessandro Altobelli(former Inter player, also an analyst), " No comment".

I hope to god they don't comment too when we play Inter. :D

any kind of comment would be futile if ADP puts one in against inter

My ranking of Ale free-kicks this season:

5. vs Palermo
4. vs Real
3. vs Chievo
2. vs Roma
1. vs Zenit
Mine would be

1. vs Roma
2. vs Zenit
3. vs Real
4. vs Chievo
5. vs Palermo

Anyway, they were all superbly taken.

My be he did not want the 250'th goal to be a PK PLUS he wanted to boost up Iaquinta's confidence which is good for the team.. And it did. After iaquinta managed to score that goal from the bound he improved 70%. He started to show some of the reasons why he was so crucial last season.

Forza Ale..
I think thats the reason. Classy move from the Captain.

i think ale was saving it for inter
You know I love you when you make these predictions.

Del Piero: "Let’s go on like this"

In the same week of the triumph at Madrid, Del Piero was once again the protagonist, even against Chievo.

No better way to celebrate his 34th birthday then paving the way to another Juventus victory. Another incredible free-kick, a Del Pero classic which comes as the cherry on the cake for another mega-performance by the Juventus skipper. Once again the spectators where on their feet applauding as the capatin left the field. A happy and satisfied Del Piero commented in this way : "I’m happy, we won, I scored, what more could I ask for? The important thing is to go like this in an important time which the team is going through."

When asked why he decided to postpone his 250th goal and allow Iaquinta to take the penalty the captain answered : "We spoke, I would have taken it myself, but I understood that Vincenzo wanted to score and I was happy to leave it up to him. I’m happy for him."

Mine would be

3. vs Real
4. vs Chievo
5. vs Palermo
And what if we include the other 3 goals he scored. All three were beauties and out of the box.

Mine would be

1. vs Real Madrid (the first goal in Turin)
2. vs Zenit
3. vs Artmedia
4. vs Roma
5. vs Chievo
6. vs Real (the first goal in Madrid)
7. vs Real (the free kick)
8. vs Palermo

If beauty, I agree with you except that I'd change 4 with 3 maybe. As importance, things would look a bit different here.
