Please, spare me. You can't sell this to me. I don't want to spoil the party in this thread so let's just move it elsewhere or forget it.

I wonder who started by spoiling the party with smart arse comments. Or is it ok for you but not for others? This is called hypocrisy by the way.

Del Piero Focused On Next Season

Alessandro Del Piero is already looking ahead to next season after his Bianconeri side closed this term with a 3-3 draw away to Sampdoria.

Pinturicchio grabbed a brace during an exciting game at Marassi and it could have been a hat-trick had he not allowed David Trezeguet to take one of the penalties that Juve were awarded.

The Bianconeri end the campaign with a Champions League place but Del Piero is looking to go one or even two places better next term.

"I am delighted and I want to thank all the players for a great season, everyone has given their best," said Del Piero.

"Next season will be important but difficult and we will need to improve from now until then.

"We will try to finish second or even first next term. These have to be our objectives and we need to focus on them as soon as possible.

"All of us have to put in the extra effort for next season and it has been a great campaign.

"As for the penalty, I left it for Trezeguet as we usually swap roles. I am happy he scored and it was a nice way to end a great season."

Del Piero is well on course to win the Capocanoniere title but in order to do so, Marco Borriello will have to fail in his attempts to score when his Genoa side clash with Atalanta in Bergamo.

The Juve number 10 scored 21 throughout the season where as the Grifoni hit-man is on 19 but has the chance to add to his tally on Sunday.

Congrats to Ale! I wish if he didn't join the Euros thou, he could save the energy for Juve for next season, he needs some rest, and we need the same performance for next season, it will be harder since we will play in CL, and big up for letting Trez taking the penalty!

TOTALLY AGREE

JUVE is starting preparation for the CL qualis july 5th.

a month on the beach with Tobias and Sonia is the best thing that Ale can do for next season, instead of being with Donadoni suffering on the bench

Jack and Rev said it all. But allow me to say that, even when he was up with only 9 or 10 goals while others were really flying away in the table, I had this feeling he'll make it and he'll lead it.

Captain of the Captains, Legend of the Legends:touched:. Like Jack said, there's only one Del Piero and only one.

Don't rush and don't jinx it.
There is still one guy who tested positive for a drug test last year to take care of.

Borriello to get injured in the opening minute of the match tomorrow
