As much as I hate Torino, them going down would deny us a classic derby in Italian football.

That Trez goal in the dying minutes against Torino is just priceless. I just love beating Torino, so much more satisfying than beating Empoli for example.

:agree: beating them is one of the highlights of the season for the many Juve fans who live in Turin and as much as i hate them, the feeling of beating them is better than seeing them down in Serie B

Why the fuck doesn't Del Piero answer back to that, that's fucking annoying.
...and that is why my dear friend, he is Comotto, you are Ed, and he is Del fuckin' Piero!

Comotto is simply not worth attention, shit we even had no idea he said anything before somebody randomly posted his words...lol

Del Piero Is Juventus – Lippi

Marcello Lippi has heaped praise on the in-form Alessandro Del Piero, saying that “he is Juventus”.

Del Piero has been producing some simply brilliant performances in recent months, and was at his incredible best again this weekend, scoring a hat-trick in Juve’s 4-0 thrashing of Atalanta.

This treble took Del Piero’s goal-tally in Serie A to 17, just two behind Capocannoniere leader Marco Borriello.

There have been cries in the media from journalists, players and coaches that 'The Golden Boy’ must now be taken to Euro 2008, and Lippi was asked for his thoughts on the matter.

I do not want to say because it would be unfair seeing as there is now another person [Roberto Donadoni] in my old position,” the World Cup-winning Azzurri boss from 2006 told Sky Italia.

But I will say just one thing – he is Juventus.

He is the representative of this club, he has exceptional motivation, an extraordinary mind, and gave an example in the World Cup in Germany, when he accepted a [substitute] role as a protagonist even if it was not in a way that he would have wished.

He is in exceptional physical condition,” the Paul Newman-lookalike concluded.

Nope, i saw on an interview after the world cup on SBS here in Aus.. It was classic, Lippi looked at him like for 3 paused seconds n then said "i've just won the worlds greatest trophy, don't u wanna talk to me about that" in a somewhat agressive tone, well for Lippi anyway.. Oh n Marcello, learn something besides Italian u bum! jks

Well being an Aussie, definitely the journalist is kinda still bitter by Grosso's 50-50 penalty .. he didn't want to stir that up and talk about the cup, because maybe .. just maybe .. if Grosso didn't get that penalty, Australia would've knocked Italy off right from the first minute in Extra time .. and go all the way beating Ukraine, Germany and France .. all in the regular time ... :p

Pirlo Calls For Del Piero Inclusion

Andrea Pirlo is the latest member of the Calcio community to declare that Alessandro Del Piero should be taken to Euro 2008.

Despite his sensational form in recent months, Del Piero’s plane ticket for Austria and Switzerland is far from being secure.

There has been a concerted campaign in the peninsula calling for 'The Golden Boy’ to be taken, and now Pirlo has jumped onto the bandwagon.

“Del Piero has always been a part of the Azzurri and it is normal that we would like to see him there for this occasion,” said the playmaker.
