i am relaxed but its rather pathetic that he would rather be a 2 yr old than to actually debate his point without the name calling.

like i said if madrid made him an offer, he would think twice about it.
Yes , but you base this on what . Unless he actually goes through with it you can't really say that he would accept an offer from real madrid . All we know is that he's been playing for Roma his whole life and doesn't seem like he's going any where , so how can you say he is not loyal .

If he leaves Roma then you can say he is disloyal to the club , but you can't just accuse the guy of something he isn't .

well actually i am right, ass is an american spelling for the behind, arse is the spelling in england.

and you cant debate you have clearly shown your arrogance and stupidity to tell me what i watch and how i judge players. you havent debated, merely criticised and shown insolence in your statements about francesco totti.
name calling is not criticising, its just childish and shows that vinman was right in calling you a rookie debator.

a disagreement to your beliefs doesnt go down as stupidity and arrogance if its within reason which in this case it is, you seem pretty certain that he would remain a roma player forever as i am that if someone like madrid came along for an offer for him he wouldn't say no.

how does that sound to u?

at the same time you cant presume that he would stay at roma forever. but from previous threats of lack of strength at roma, and his dream to play for madrid, it wouldn't surprise me if he did one day leave roma. but the bottom line is if anyone has shown true loyalty through the tests of relegation and bad management, aswell as the pay cuts he has taken its ale

You can't be certian that any player wouldn't leave his club in the future . That's not a valid point . You can't base your opinion on a player judging on wat he might do a few years from now , it makes no sense . You can only judge him form his past and present , but judging him based on the possibilty that he might move in the future is not a reason for calling Totti disloyal .

well in that case he the same as me, is he not?

hold on you are putting words in my mouth, at what point did i ever say that totti would never leave? i didnt, i am arguing that he has shown great loyalty to his club throught many years of poor posistion, sure del piero played with us in serie b, because he loves us and by hat time he was well towards the end of his career, i love what he has done, but at one point he was also one of the highest paid players, who is to say that he didnt stay for that. totti has endured a turbulent time with roma and your interpretation of him is anarrow minded view.

we arent saying he the most loyal player but you just dont understand what i mean when i say totti is loyal. you think that no one other than DP can be loyal to their club without wanting changes once in a while.

fine by me. but to me when it comes down to it del piero has shown more acts of loyalty than totti has

i dont think its quite right to say that roma have endured bad finishes in league positions whilst totti has been about, they've always been european place competitors which is quite modest finishes for roma. as for del piero's earning's like many other high earners, their major income is not through the club wages but the sponsorship deals. del piero is not short of suitors to this day, im sure there are clubs in places like japan, america, arab countries that would double, triple, quadrouple his current earnings just to play for them.

even still if for example, totti wasnt a big roma fan, hes played for them his whole career, what more do you want from him.

actually at one point dp earn 100,000 pounds so dont say that it was mainly through spnosors. and turning down clubs from 3rd rate clubs is very different from turing down madrid.

ideally... to see him at a different club

i dont ever recall ale ever earning that much. and sponsorship deals are still bigger incomes to a footballer than 100k. and if you must know ale has rejected man utd in the past.

Del piero threatened he would quit Juve a number of times . Does that mean he isn't loyal ?
He never threatened, the only one time he talked about quitting Juventus was when capello left the team... he stated "I would have left Juventus if Capello was going to remain"... I don't consider that as a threat because he simply declared that AFTER capello was out.
