We Did Not Deserve To Lose - Del Piero
Juventus captain Alessandro Del Piero said his team would not have deserved to lose against Inter, who were held to a 1-1 draw in Turin tonight.
After Juventus scored their equaliser in the home match against Inter tonight, captain Alessandro Del Piero had already left the pitch for the man who scored the goal, Mauro Camoranesi, but everyone ran to the banch to embrace him, which showed he is still the symbol of the team.
His post match comments to Sky were those of a true leader: "We did not deserve to lose, we showed once again we have the will to win and that has to be our weapon throughout the season. They are a solid team, we struggled a lot to create chances, only our great desire allowed us to get the draw."
Del Piero showed confidence in the future of the team: "The gap between us? It's not huge, but it's there: they have played together for many years, they are a solid group, while we are still finding our way.
"The substitution? I was feeling good, perhaps the coach opted for a different type of system at that point in the game. I wasn't happy about it, but who likes being substituted?"

Juventus captain Alessandro Del Piero is adamant that the Bianconeri earned their draw against Inter at the Stadio Olimpico.
The Old Lady were on the back foot for the majority of the Derby d’Italia, but they grabbed a share of the spoils courtesy of Mauro Camoranesi.
While Roberto Mancini and his Inter players insist that they deserved to take maximum points, Pinturricchio saw a tight encounter.
“We didn’t deserve to lose,” the 32-year-old told Sky Sports Italia after the game.
“We got a draw by demonstrating the kind of willpower that we have shown throughout the season.
“Inter showed their quality and they have lots of top quality players behind them, but they didn’t take many risks and they mainly looked dangerous through set-pieces.
“There isn’t an enormous gap between us and them,” Del Piero concluded.
Juve director general Jean-Claude Blanc couldn’t hide his delight at the Cadetti champions’ efforts.
“We played to win and showed that we can challenge for the Scudetto,” he boomed.
“We shouldn’t forget how far we have come and this side still has room to improve.
“This was a big step forward – we saw tonight that Juve will always be Juve,” he enthused.

I don't think it was really his pace that let him down in the inter game but rather his size and power . I think he had an ok first half , but it wasn't Del piero's type of game . Juve needed Strength and quickness more than technical abilities .
Iaquinta was perfect for that . Camo was also excellent as he was quick and creative every time he touched the ball .
I think he's picking up his form lately and that's good enough .
The sad truth however is Del piero is old and he is no longer able to play with the best . It doesn't make sense for a 33 year old who is past his prime to shine against players in their prime . I think he does a good job in making yup for the lost pace , flair , and fitness over the years . He has become a master of set pieces , his crosses are always dangerous , his vision and passing is also brilliant .

If you look back at Juventus squads in the past, we've always had a brilliant midfield. This year our midfield has been quite ordinary and we currently lack an attacking playmaker. It stands to reason that forwards perform at their best when they get service and through passes from the midfield. Most of our games sees Del Piero playing alot deeper in midfield than in previous years. It even goes for Trez as well. How many chances did he have vs Inter?....just 1. Other than that he barely touched the ball. DP has been trying to create chances from the midfield and that's just not his best game
