The National team: “I wouldn't like to comment on Totti's situation, it's too complicated and I risk saying the wrong thing. In any case, if he really was to quit the national team, I wouldn't be interested in getting back the number 10 shirt. Am I going to quit? No way, I aim to take part in the World Cup in South Africa, in 2010; but as I like to take one step at a time, I'm concentrating on the European Championships for the time being”.

“Nothing can stop my desire to play and to be the best. People are saying that I can’t play for the whole 90 minutes, but that’s not true.”

Football Italia
Really, there's no other player than Ale in football world that can be soo determined and class. The man isn't only a legend or a great football player in football history, he's also out of this world.....

Forza Ale, long live Capitano!!!!

The Juventus captain cannot wait to start the new season again and is convinced his team can compete on high levels.

Alessandro Del Piero, from Juve's pre-season training camp, talked about his club and not only that. His first words are aimed at the Bianconero coach:

"I've met mister Ranieri, more than anything off the pitch, and I have to say he had some very positive things to say about me and I can only thank him about that.

"I'm working to give the maximum for the team: I go on the pitch to win, not to make a good impression. We come from the Serie B with many new players and an entirely new club structure, it won't be easy to find a complete understanding instantly."

Buffon, Trezeguet, and Camoranesi are all staying at Juve: "I'm happy that Gigi, David and Mauro will stay. I hope we can be come out as winners in our next game against Inter, and that it will be important in the Scudetto race."

The Bianconeri captain also talked about the Italian national team, after the announced goodbye of Francesco Totti: "Totti's situation I don't want to comment on to avoid making wrong judgements. In any case, I would not be interested in getting back the number 10 shirt if he were to leave. Personally I have no intention of leaving, I want to be there at the next European championships as well as the 2010 World Cup in South Africa."
