Even with just a few minutes on the pitch he looked a different class to the other players on the pitch.

Only thing is to bear in mind it was an utterly shite full back he was up against.

ale showed his class agian today, some great bits of skill and like juve red said, he showed he was a level above with his great control and ball skills, shame he wasnt given more time as he looked like he wanted to score

Yeah you're right, but Totti has been the better player in the past 7 years
 good stuff.

ALESSANDRO DEL PIERO - What a fuckin' ENIGMA, man

and he proved it today... once again!

Everytime he did a move or something the crowd went crazy. :p
You guys saw the crowd when each time Dp was touching the ball:touched:

Too bad he didn't play more than 15min.

Ayye. Natale didnt touch the ball in the 1st half...had a very good chance in the 2nd...was ruined.

Del Piero showed class in less than 20min...not to also mention that the team stopped pushing after Toni scored the 2nd...so he didn't recieve lot of back-ups.

exactly, everytime ale got the ball he didnt have much support and a lot of the time he would get 2 defenders gang up on him (even then he did things like that slick back heel to zambrotta:cool: ), and like i said, had he started i think he would have scored, i watched the game with milan fans and even they were saying del piero is class and should have started the game

I'm pretty sure he would have scored had he started. About the 2 defenders thing marking him, for a while I thought there was 3players marking him...each time he would recieve the ball he would be sorrounded, Lol.

Both Del Piero and Totti are incredible players.Del Piero is easily one of the most decorated players in italian history.Totti on the other hand, has not even won half of what Del Piero has,but that doesnt make him a nobody.Had he been a bigger club, then he would have achieved just as much,or maybe even more than Del Piero.I personally think Totti is the more skillfull player, though Del Piero is much more calmer and composed than him.Totti would have gone on to become the best player in the world had he been at a bigger club, but that didnt happen,so the history books will always call Del Piero the greater player, and he would have the trophies to back him.
