Maybe cuz Totti is a better player than Del Piero?(seriously, DP has failed to deliver whenever he went on the int'l stage with the Azzuri)
Thats nonsense man.

Del Piero has only failed in Euro 2000 final game, not to mention that from day 1 till the Semi finals he was one of the best players Dino Zoff had in his disposal.

Without Del Piero (you can check the stats and games) without him Trap would have failed to take his squad to Portugal 3years ago...thanks to Ale's goals in the Qalification matches.

During the World Cup 2002, Ale was benched, but yet again, he showed up against Mexico to score one of the most important goals in that tournament. Then Trap played him for one half to subs him. Very fair:rolleyes:

World Cup 2006, Del Piero was much more effective and performed better than Totti.

I like Totti and I admire him, but people should get over this idea that Del Piero failed, he couldn't finish 2chances against france and till now people cant seem to get over it.

the final changed it all m8
It could've been DP

Btw at the WC 06, DP was better than Totti, need i remind u Totti was injured?
Lol, talking about injuries.....nah, don't remind me, Del Piero says it all about injuries, It's enough after his biggest injury to performe great in Euro 2000.

So thats really not an excuse.

And about the final changed it all....Yes, It turned and crowned france as winners but facts remain facts, and fact is Del Piero was outstanding in 2000.

@Rami and antiperdenti, I got your points. :pint:

But this makes no sense!!! How could Totti reach a perfect form and then refused to join his national team?

Also (and this is the most important question), how could the media agree to this weird opinion and how is he above all FIGC?

I said before. Everything is allowed to Sputotti
We're in Italy
