Today's game was a torture..

The most of them all was the one where Ale dribbled past the goal keeper then the deffender blocked him so he turned aruond with his left looped it with a curl and it went just past the top corner of the goal..

That would have been some goal.

BRAVOOO!!! Your humour is so awesome, I'm impressed

Does exist here some moderator or admin to ban these anti-juventini who are here for offending other members??
You are the one who started insulting, salman just expressed his opinion about football players, if you don't like his opinion and cannot come up with a decent counter argument, just ignore it.

all that bantar was pretty comical i must admit! As for Del Piero if he does not take care of this 200 this weekend this may start to fustrate him and the team which will get there minds off what really counts!

Jeeks is spot on: Shake hands and let's get on with praising and constructively debating DP. (Although a closed DP thread would be something to see. How would it effect tissue sales?)

Be a bit more mature fellows.

I request that if anyone wants to take issue on any of my contributions on DP, or any other matter that they do it in a public forum, not with a PM.

Many thanks.

Alex has Azzurri regrets Tuesday 17 October, 2006

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alex Del Piero has admitted he was disappointed to be relegated to the stands during Italy’s Euro 2008 qualifier in Georgia. “I admit I’m still angry,” he stated.

The Juventus captain started in the 2-0 win over Ukraine earlier this month, but was snubbed by boss Roberto Donadoni for the next qualifier just four days later.

“I always want to play and I cannot hide the fact that being forced to watch the match from the stands bothered me, but there will be the right time and place to talk about this,” he told Sky Italia.

It has been suggested that Juventus have now become Del Piero’s 'national team’, seeing as the Old Lady still consider him to be a key player.

“This is not the Azzurri team, Juve are Juve and I am glad and proud to be part of this club,” he added. “The two things are separate and different.”

These are exciting times for the No 10 at club level who went close on a number of occasions last night against Treviso in scoring his 200th goal for the club.

“I wanted to find the net and I think that was visible on the pitch,” added the World Cup winner. “But never mind, there is an entire season ahead of us and I am sure the goal will finally come.”

Del Piero said after Treviso Game :

" A wonderful away match "at home", in which we gain a crucial victory against a very dangerous Treviso that didn't want to give up. As for me, well it was definitely an exciting experience to play for the first time so close to my hometown. I received an unbelievable welcome, very warm, and the standing ovation during the prizegiving just before the match was the gauge of the supporter's love and of all the people pleased to see me: thank you to all of you. I'm very pleased for this victory, we are not in last position anymore: we got over the first and most difficult step, now we must keep on doing all our best because we have many more difficult matches ahead. Of course I really wanted to cut a fine figure and play well, and I'm not bothered about my score N° 200: it's so close! "

why we could discuss in here...without the need to revert to childish bantars.

anyway, abt Alex...i want him to get this 200 thing over and done with sooner than later. Although he looked like he enjoyed his game with showing his class, he was a bit selfish at many times. There were numerous positions where he could've passed the ball he chose to keep the ball.
