I don't think lippi feels the same, because if he did he would have subbed in Del Piero to atleast try that lineup for a few irrelevant minutes. Subbing in all the defenders/midfielders that he did in order to give rest to Pirlo , Camo and Gattuso suggest that he chose his lineup for the rest of the tournament.

We had 4 left/rightbacks and 2 central defenders. Ok, being defensive, but 6 defenders? During the match I had the feeling that if he had had the chance he would have put Nesta and Materazzi in too.

i seen him on bench couple of times head learning back we where 3-0 at time and he didnt have a smile on his face he knew he wasent going to get a game at that stage! Maybe depressed over not playing or worried bout pessotto
