First of all + REP to mnementh,

I hate when people say Alex has proven or Alex is playing nicely ..etc
Personally I think that Alex has reached a state where he has nothing to prove to anyone. He has reached to a position when calling him the best is a downgrade.
Milanista, Romanista .etc media are just too freakin jealous that we have the best player, captain, sportsman alive.

Forza ale the great.

I heard Del Piero cried in the dressing room.. What happened exactly? Moggi going in saying that from tomorrow everyone can find another club is plain crap which I don't buy.

By the way, Del Piero said if he scored a goal he will dedicated it to Moggi.. He scored today :) Forza ale..

Did he really say that?
News really travel fast

Don't worry, guys. This is just an ugly rumor that was posted by a user, around 2am last night, on the j1897 forum. He said he knew Alessio Secco (the team manager), because his uncle worked in a firm with him.

It's 90% not true. Would Secco tell something like that one the phone to someone he barely knows? Would he promise him to let him get into the lockerrooms after the Juve-Arsenal match, knowing it would end in a disaster? And, they checked, the firm doesn't exist

The goal today was really :touched: and his words after the match too :touched:

I noticed Ale is the only juventino media don't have the courage to talk badly (about him and Juve) in his presence. Ale said today: I thought I was coming here to answer one of this kind of questions and then talk about other things (the scudetto). The interista on mediaset answered "yeah, congratulations to Del Piero for his scudetto!" and a crowd made of milanisti started clapping their hands at Ale's scudetto. Surreal. That was the only congratulation we got today.

True... Ciro Ferrara has won 8 , 6 in Juve and 2 in Napoli. 2 other players won 7 for Juve besides Alex... only one Juve player has won 8 Juve scudetti (Furino)... I hope the numbers don't change for the worse :(

Scudetto titles Won :
Furino 8
Del Piero 7
Scirea 7
Bettega 7

number of titles total :

Del Piero 16
Ferrara 15
Scirea 14
Tacchinardi 14
Cabrini 13
Conte 13
Brio 12

greatly, today Del Piero also equalled 2nd best scorer ever for Juve in Serie A :

1. Giampiero Boniperti 178
2. Alessandro Del Piero 134
3. Omar Sivori 134
4. Roberto Bettega 128
5. John Hansen 124
6. Felice Borel II 122

and equalled montella on the current players still playing in Serie A :

138 - chiesa
134 – Del Piero
134 – montella
127 – shevchenko
125 – inzaghi
123 - totti

This has been Del Piero's 4th best season in number of goals in total :

1997 - 1998 : 32 goals
2002 - 2003 : 23 goals
2001 - 2002 : 21 goals
2005 - 2006 20 goals

I can't help but just love Il Capitano. He's pure class and everybody knows that. I'm glad he was given the respect that he deserves from the reporters. Grazie Alex for this season.
