Causa un infortunio subito sabato contro la Roma, Alex del Piero non potrà disputare la sfida d'andata dei quarti di Champions League contro l'Arsenal, in programma domani sera a Londra. Il capitano bianconero ha così rinviato il confronto personale con gli inglesi nel ritorno a Torino.
"Peccato...! Il leggero infortunio patito durante il match contro la Roma, nell'anticipo di sabato sera, non mi consente di partecipare alla trasferta di Londra per l'andata dei quarti di Champions. Oggi mi sottoporrò agli esami per accertare l'entità di quello che sembra un risentimento muscolare alla coscia sinistra, e per valutare insieme allo staff medico i tempi di recupero - ha dichiarato Del Piero dalle pagine del suo sito personale - Mi dispiace davvero di non poter scendere in campo ancora una volta all'Highbury contro l'Arsenal: vorrà dire che i Gunners li aspetto a Torino!"

DP says: What a pitty, because of the injuiry against roma, I can not be able to go london. today there will be tests on my left leg to see how the injuiry is and how long the recovery will take. he is sorry that he is not able to play in highbury again against Arseal. I would like to say, that I will be waiting for the gunners in torino

hey guys, long time..hope everyones doing ok 
just heard bout del piero though my dad saw the match live and he kept on calling me from the stadium wondering where alex was and i told him that he had gone out because of his injury but now that hes not playing against arsenal, i feel very bad 
i hope he gets back and plays them at the delle alpi, most likely to score as well
