this is good, everytime dp gets dropped he starts playing well again to make his way back into the NT, and when he gets back in, and gets praise for his good performances, he goes back into a comfort zone and his form drops.
so true, del piero is good when he's hungry and angry, wen he's all secure and things go his way he can become complacent

Lippi was asked to comment on both Del Piero and Palladino today and here's what he said.

"There's something different between the two players, Alessandro has proved to be one of the best players to step on a football pitch, Palladino is talented and since he's playing and training next to Ale, he can be a great player"

Torino captain Gianluca Comotto has launched a stinging attack on Juventus counterpart Alessandro Del Piero.

In an interview with La Stampa, the 29-year-old discussed the lack of loyalty in Italian football and surprisingly refuted the suggestion that Del Piero is a Juve talisman.

“Except for Francesco Totti, I don’t see any standard bearers in this country,” Comotto revealed.

“Not even Del Piero counts as he only renewed his contract with the Bianconeri when no other side offered him the same money.

“Totti, by contrast, made a choice to reject all other teams even if they offer more money.”

he also said that if he was playing for a Roman or Milanese club he'd be with the NT. He got over it and now wants to be a symbol of the bovines.
