that reality for you. grow up.
Football is not all money and business, its much more than that, I guess you got carried away with all the things that are happening in modern football, and that got you believe that this is real football.

Way to go labeling people who suport their captain as "not real fans", well their not real fans if you look at it in a bussiness point of view.

people said that del piero was the most influential player. i just said that he was just as influential if not less than emerson, canavaro, camo, zambrotta
And is it a bad thing ? should you didcate your life to critisize him if he is one our most influential players this season ?

Baggio was our captain and flag (and a far better player than DP as anyone who saw both players can testify). Thing is that when his time at the club was over he moved on and accepted the fact that the club had found a younger player than him.

This is the same situation with DP-Zlatan, but unfortunately for us DP can't take the hint, but on the contrary he wants more playing time!

He's really shown up only in one big game this season, against Milan, doesnt change the fact that he is a choker. Where was he against, Milan last season, against Deportivo two or three years ago, again against Milan in the CL Final, against France in the Euro 2000 Final...
Strange. I thought it was us, DP lovers, who looked at DP's past too much.

So, acting logical, you think Emerson, Cannavaro, Camoranesi and Zambrotta should leave as well? Because they provided as much as Del Piero, which is too little in your opinion.

I'll always Put Dp infront of any coach, but not the Club.
You do, luckily we have a management that doesn't. Since you consider the club above Del Piero, the manager is the club when he is with the players on the pitch or during training.

Again I repeat, I understand why Dp should be Sub, and am with you, Del Piero should be benched when he's not doing good, but the same has to go with Zlatan. Got it?
Glad you understood and you are with me on why Del Piero was benched. When he played good in the last 3 games he was not subbed.

Where did you read me saying that he was pool overall to claim it was MY opinion.
My response wasn't aimed particularly at you, but at those who bash him unjustly. You just happened to be one of them. Obviously, I don't follow and study all of your previous statements and opinions, but upon repitition those views stuck in my head. In other words, you all sound the same to me ;)

First you say,

It will be considered an insult Graham. We tried to state facts a lot in earlier days.
and then you say,

-My reply on your fact: I do not believe in numbers and the performance on the pitch is what I look at.
I was under the impression numbers were indeed facts ?

-Fact, he is overpaid for what he gives as a player. Why do I care? Because his salary is enough to be paid for two players of his calibre.
In FACT, this is an opinion. As a player, he gives back on the field and off the field. I don't think Moggi is the type of person that overpays anybody.

Those are just 5 games you mentioned, I think Juventus played a whole lot more.
Not a whole lot more big matches....and Del Piero certainly didn't play all of them.

But he was against Parma, just like he was against Siena and in other matches when he was our best player on the field

That's the entire point.

If we had in our current squad a young talent like the 19 year DP then it might be considerable, but I don't see Zlatan as a direct replacment for DP, I don't think that they belong to the same categorey...

I think in ONLY one game Del Piero was our best player on the field, wake up from your dreams, you might miss the bus to the school.

I think a football expert like you who wanna get rid of one of our most influential players this year won't easily trust a junkie who didn't play football in the last season as a trustful replacment

By critisizing Del Piero it does not mean one is bashing him, get over this you blinded fans.
And by saying he was not the best player or the most influencial player and the one that brought us the trophy is realism. I will tell you because one assist against Milan does not bring a title, there are many other games, many other players and a manager who were behind things.

For me a fact is not only the number, there is something happening on the field that the numbers do not show.

If that is the case, then as of tomorrow Del Piero should get a wage cut.

I wonder why, probably because he was not up to it

yes but del piero WAS a replacer for baggio and zlatan ISNT
DP is a born leader and zlatan is a pure striker i NEVER will belive if zlatan puts on the captain band
hes no leader hes a goal getting striker nothing more

Zlatan a striker? A goal getting striker? Are we crazy? He can't score the easiest of goals let alone be a goal getting striker. That's Trezeguet's job, that's why they compliment each other superbly upfront.

I really can't see any other attacking partnership for next year apart from Trezeguet(or maybe gilardino if we get him) and Zlatan.
