i am a die-hard Ale supporter but he isn't the be-all and end-all in football...Ale is a living legend but there will always be another Juve # 10, who we can only pray that can achieve what Ale has achieved in Turin

:p
I know, that's why we should never retire the #10 shirt, even when the legend retires.

Since 1998 was a WC year, the winner of that season's award almost always comes out of the country that won the WC.
And since France won the WC, it is logic Zidane won it.

You are right, they do not make him the better player: he was just the better player, only a few die-hard DP lovers can't see that. Please put away the what would have been if he didn't get injured baloney.
don't you get tired to piss every single Del Piero fans every fuckin day?

You're right about the era, but in the 1997-1998 season Del Piero was arguably better than Zidane. It would be a very close call to say the least.

Not sure of your point, but to try to answer: It is not hard to upset DP fans, one must just point out that he was not the greatest, or even best, player in the world or for Juventus.

Even Nedved is more useful than Zidane. He won 4 scudetti in 5 seasons

Tricks and dribblings doesnt make a player best

Where was Zidane when we crushed them 2 times
Even Nedved! Nedved has been one of the better players (and I was doubtful of him at first) for Juve, may I even say much more so that DP.

Tricks and dribbling, along with vision, class, balance, imagination, and magic do.

Crushed x 2?

Do you specialise in being silly, or do you just like the reaction: wasting your time with me then.

I won't even go into the 4 Scudettos!

Been there done that! But I see you are doing it seriously for hours everyday, it doesn't deserve the effort (To convince them the reality).

Bianconero is totally correct TBH.Del Piero has had amazing seasons, but there was never a time where he was the best player in the world. The last Juventus player that comes to my mind in terms of the best in the world is Roberto Baggio.Nedved might, and im saying just might be worthy of that claim during the season he won the Ballon D'or,but i cant really say the same about Del Piero.
