Del Piero Crunch Talks Scheduled For Next Week

Juventus chief Jean-Claude Blanc has announced that a meeting has been scheduled for next week with the intent of striking a deal that will keep Alessandro Del Piero a Bianconero for the rest of his playing days.

Previous contract meetings have not gone as smooth as had been hoped, with Del Piero said to be deeply dissatisfied with the reduced terms on offer. The Bianconeri brass have been quick to squash claims that a sensational split is in store, however.

“We will have a meeting at the end of the month in order to find an agreement,” Blanc assured. "He is very special one for us, it's important we satisfy his demands."

As long as he signs I'm not that bothered, but I feel this could have been done in the close season rather than being a potential distraction at the start of the season.

Del Piero will stay...definitely.
I think I prefer DP over Iaquinta on anyday...
if Del Piero wants to leave, I would want him to join Portsmouth or Arsenal
I am sure he will show his magic in the premiership too..
