Read this in magazine:
Del Piero may be famous for never complaining, but Arrigo Sacchi revealed that even he took it a little far.
"When we went to Kiev for a World Cup qualifier against the Ukraine, the hotel didn't have enough beds. Ale slept on a sofa and woke up with three deep line marks on his back, but he didn't moan about it. In a sport full of spoilt brats, he has always stood out for his maturity and simplicity."

Class.
thats taking it too far
im sure the Italian NT and the Figg could arrange something and get an extra bed, thats shameful!!!

11 millions Euros?? that's a lot
If only he can send me 1.3% of his salary to me each month, I'll be thankfu:p.

Anyway, considering Del Piero brings cash to the club, from fans buying his jersey to the tours like the ones we did in Japan 1 n half year ago and other places like europe, lot of fans are welling to pay for tickets just to see big name like him. The same goes with Beckham in madrid, Henry Arsenal, Totti Roma, Kaka or Maldini Milan etc.... So he do give the team much more than what he recieves If we compare...

Not to also mention he's Juventus most loved player and Juve's captain, It's normal to have such a wage.
