no i think zidane was the best pk taker
Del Piero has taken way and way much more Penalty kicks than Zidane. To stats (percentage) Zidane can be little higher than Del Piero. Thats because like Elvin and I have said earlier that Zidane has taken much less Pk's than Juve's Captain.

As much as you keep taking PK's as much as you have the chance to miss one, one day.

Del Piero has taken 57 PKs for Juve, scored 45 (79%), missed 12

(1) 21.09.1997 Serie A Juventus-Brescia 4-0
(2) 21.12.1997 Serie A Juventus-Empoli 5-2 (scored after rebound though)
(3) 25.01.1998 Serie A Juventus-Atalanta 3-1
(4) 26.04.1998 Serie A Juventus-Inter 1-0
(5) 25.10.1998 Serie A Juventus-Inter 1-0 (scored after rebound too)
(6) 27.01.2002 Serie A Chievo-Juventus 1-3
(7) 19.02.2002 Champions League Juventus-Deportivo La Coruna 0-0
(8) 19.01.2003 Serie A Chievo-Juventus 1-4
(9) 09.11.2003 Serie A Juventus-Udinese 4-1
(10) 08.02.2006 Serie A Juventus-Parma 1-1
(11) 15.04.2006 Serie A Cagliari-Juventus 1-1
(12) 31.03.2007 Serie B Pescara-Juventus 0-1

^ Only 3 were decisive ;)

* He has taken 5 times for Italy and scored all of them :eyebrows:
** He has never missed in after-match PK shootouts.

Do you have a thing for limited forwards or what? :D
"Limited" forwards? If you call one of the best strikers EVER in the world, who scored over 400 competitive goals for both club and country, having a ratio of 25 goals per season average, than yeah, I have a thing for "limited forwards".

I don't have a thing for such players but I feel natural born strikers like Shearer, Batistuta, Romario for example are the rarest breed of football players. Trez is far from that level but he's world class at what he does and we're very lucky to have him, a striker which can guarantee 20+ goals per season.
