about alex's party

Tomorrow will be a special day: I'm going back to San Vendemiano to visit my town and meet my very first supporters, those with who I share the same accent and origin. It will be a great evening, I know that they are all waiting for me over there.... and I'm very thrilled, and proud as well: it's a party with all the family, because it is with my family, with my friends, the supporters and all soccer lovers, that I want to celebrate the victory of the world cup. I'll see you tomorrow!

thats on his official site:)

Alex Del Piero was delighted with Juventus’ 4-0 win over Modena, but has warned his teammates not to rest on their laurels. :smoke:

The Bianconeri seem to have finally adjusted to life in Serie B reality and have won three matches in a row, bringing their points tally up to minus seven after their Calciopoli penalty.

Del Piero was also on the scoresheet on Saturday, netting his 199th goal for the Bianconeri. :money:

“I am very glad I scored, but the most important thing is that the team played well and proved that we are determined to do well,” he said on his personal website.

“There are only positive notes coming from the match, we just have to continue this way on Saturday against Piacenza.” :coffee:

Del Piero was close to completing a double century of Juve goals, but was denied by a last minute goal line clearance.

“Am I disappointed? Not at all, it was a great match, and I was really pleased with the spirit we all showed out there on the pitch,” explained the skipper. :shifty:

“By now we have come to terms with this emotional adventure and we all want to get back to the top as soon as possible.

“Let’s just say I don’t look at the bottom of the table, while we await for the outcome of the CONI Arbitration [on October 11].

“We’re just looking forward to each game as it comes. Today’s Juventus can go very far,”
concluded Del Piero.
