I don't have to admit anything because there is nothing new with this argument. We have been through it for the past 5 months and it's pretty much washed up (no pun intended).
Del Piero has given us goals this season and he has been important to the team. Without his services we wouldn't have most of those goals he scored and might not be in the same position we are in today, of course taking into account our run in the CL. So there is no doubt Del Piero is important to the team.
That said, some people tend to overrate the goals and not look at the big picture, thus the continuous arguments going on at this forum and over the internet world. Some fans are not taking into account Del Piero's performances as a whole, and that is what some members here are trying to make the DP fans realize. We (well me at least) are grateful for what Del Piero has given to this side, of course in history and during this season, and his label the "most decisive player in Serie A" is very important for Juventus. But again people tend to overrate that title. We should all just leave it at this: Del Piero has been good in front of goal this season and gave us a lot in terms of finishing, however his performances as a whole have not been his best. If people would just take time to look at the big picture without using any sort of goggles, this argument would not take place over and over again- that goes for both the "lovers" and "haters."
And enough of this nonsense about Del Piero's wages. He is our Captain and has earned his wages for being at the club for about a decade.
