Achievements wise he probably is.
Zidane didnt win the CL and Del Piero played way more seasons than Platini which resulted in more trophies.
Skill wise - I think Zidane is probably the best to ever played for us.
How could u be so wrong? The best to play for juve are Buffon and pirlo. Pirlo had more talent in one weaker foot that del piero did entire body

i will say that one thing del piero was better than pirlo in was free kicks. and dribbling of course. and he did sacrifce a bit in that serie b season.

but in terms of talent, impact, longevity, class, and importance pirlo was much more than del piero.

I can only comment on players Ive watched since the early 90s.

I don't remember much of Baggio at Juve, I was too young. Never seen Platini play at all.

So Del Piero is the greatest for me.

If you wanted to choose someone for being the best player on the world stage overall not just for Juve then it's probably Christiano Ronaldo, Baggio, Platini or Zidane... Buffon is up there but we shouldn't compare goal keepers to outfield players.

But the greatest ever Juventus player due to history, loyalty, achievements and other things on and off the field then Del Piero is the greatest Juventus player ever.

I think alot of it comes down to personal preference too. It's kind of like arguing over who the best band ever is.

I just loved everything about Del Piero. His style of play was exactly what I love.

Alot of people love Messi's create flair and dribbling skills and others prefer Ronaldo's explosiveness, speed and directness.

Stats and achievements can be brought into the debate but I don't like using them when discussing a team sport as there are many other factors that contribute to their achievements.

90s era Juventus and Serie A was my intro to the sport. Nothing will rival that period IMO. I guess that what makes it special bc football didn't realize the greatness Serie A had bc the 2000s switched lenses and context thus bringing us to where we are today as fans
