I'd rather you not talk about this. If this was a mutual agreement he would have mentioned it stop talking crap out of your head you and others.

It's the first time in the history of football I see someone agreeing that this is his last season yet 1month away from finishing the season he hasn't mentioned a thing about this let alone when he said few months ago about Agnelli's statement that that's not how things should be.

Agree my ass. Wake the fuck up all of you.

OMFG :sergio:

Not even in his worst injuries Moggi ever thought of selling him. And even if he did back then, he would have done it way better, classier that suits Del Piero's reputation.

For those sucking Agnelli's vagina, I'm sure where this is coming from.
I rather not want you getting emotional and go batshit crazy on me.

I said "this is my take on it" - It was one theory.

Did Del Piero or did he not say: "Last year I had to do what I did".

If he said so, what did he mean by it?

@Salvatore: No. The worst thing about this whole scenario, is that they are not treating Alex with dignity. Marrotta is a nobody and has no business commenting for Agnelli or Alex on this issue. Agnelli, needs to address is issue, with a pair of balls, and address the fans, Alex and the media alike without letting Chinese whispers and his Doberman fill in for him.

The question is what would Del pieros position be in next years squad? Would he get to play? Conte barely use him now, with the mercato coming up and with 1-2 purchases of high class I really can't see Conte using him so much. But if he would accept Coppa italia matches why not, but I believe his playing time would be even less then this season.

If he stays I would be happy, but I really can't see him getting more playing time next season, as our attack hopefully will be better then this season.

It's not his position in the team that's being questioned. It's how he's being shunted out. If he is treated properly and we as fans are assured that this is what the agreement between him and Agnelli is, we'll accept Ale's decision. But this is his decision and Marrotta or Agnelli even have no business pre-emptying it.

Him playing is not the issue.

Him not leaving on his own terms is.
Yeah I can only agree, even if I belive that Conte/Marotta don't see a place for him in the squad next year, Atleast they should explain it for him and say this is the situation if you want to stay and fight for a place you are more then welcome to stay. The question is would Del piero accept a position like this? But yeah Agnelli and the others have handle this in the wrong way.

Yeh, this is the only really worrying issue. If we buy at least one top class, or very good striker for next season, DP will play even less. And by saying even less is almost like not playing at all.

Still, i dont think is fair for a legend of his class to leave the club like this, and shouldnt be permitted.

Marotta´s comments are really stupid to be sincere. He should stay as far as possible from the DP matter and let Agnelli and Conte speak about it. Agnelli because he stirred this madness and has the final word, and conte because technically he is thenonly one that can say if DP is useful in his Juve or not.

Saying "The president was clear" in one sentence and then "buffon for life" in the next is like a kick in the balls for all DP fans and the player himself. Is like if he had a personal argument with DP and doesnt give a fuck about him anymore.

Be it a farewell event or a contract extension,,,let Agnelli have the final word in this. He is the only one who should go out and say "yeh bye bye DP" or "yay contract".

But for now....just shut up imbecile Marotta.

As much as i love Pavel, Camo or Trez there is no doubt that Ale is on a totally different level of legend for Juventus. Not saying Trez deserved the treatment he recieved but what that orangutan president is doing to Ale is unacceptable.
Ale is something special, you cannot compare him to other legends and how we let them go. Club above player, always. But this is more a player above president issue and the orangutan should know that the fans will never ever forget Del Piero or forgive bushy eyebrows for treating him this way.

Fucking spoiled my day.

Totally... the only one who got lucky was nedved...because camo, trez and now DP were and are treated like dog poopoo
:agree:

I'm getting mad of the thought how he showed Camo and Trez the door in his FIRST year.
I think it was a showcase of Marotta's muscles. He wanted to make a statement, he wanted to feel like he's important, and make everyone feel that way, so he gets rid of two club legends.
Like when a boxer throws in some big words before a fight.
If you demand players to show loyalty to the clubs, first the club should show loyalty to the players.

I was always disgusted by how Real Madrid treat their legends, never thought that Juve would be the same.

Andrea.

Marotta is just backing Andrea's words.
Andrea who?

I still have little hope that agnelli will do the right thing.... but
1- taking in consideration what happened to the other legends, the possibilities are slim.
2-If marotta is babbling this comments like the ass he is, there is a big and realistic chance that Agnelli and MArotta already sorted the DP issue and Marotta is just being sucker saying this just for the approval of agnelli.

Marotta: 'Forget Del Piero renewal'

Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta said Gigi Buffon has a place at the club “for life,” but shot down Alessandro Del Piero’s renewal hopes. “The President was clear.”

Recent performances have sparked a campaign from fans and teammates to get Del Piero’s contract renewed just two months before it expires.

President Andrea Agnelli announced in a shareholder’s meeting early this season that it would be Del Piero’s final campaign in Turin.

“What of Del Piero’s future? President Agnelli was clear on this issue,” Marotta told Tuttosport.

“To be honest, there has been far too much talk about this. We will only sign quality players in the summer and decisions are made in absolute unity with Antonio Conte.”

While Del Piero is not going to be offered a new contract, the same cannot be said of goalkeeper Buffon.

“He will be here for a long time yet. All it takes is a glance to secure the renewal and he can stay at Juventus for life.”

I swear I'm disgusted to the maximum. This is not the Juve that I loved.

Im discusted with our managment with the way they are handling this how can he come out and compare Buffon to Del Piero and i hope the 'only signing quality players' statement wasnt related to Del Piero because it would be the most disrespectful thing i've ever had to read about our captain.

Seriosuly fuck our management for how they have handled our legends. Nedved, Trez, Camo and Del Piero not just Buffon should of been allowed to stay here as long as they wanted!!

What are our fans in Italy doing? i want banners and chanting in the stadium demanding respect for our captain! This is so wrong and has put me in such a bad mood.
