I know shit loads of man utd fans, yet never had the impression one bit they were pro Juve. Always had anti Juve comments thrown towards me. For me Man utd will always be scum.
they could've been scums here too but they gave him a standing ovation...not trying to defend all of them and all their actions, i have a close friend who's a manure fan and he annoys me like hell, but they were classy in that moment

30 idiots started whistling him then the other 70k started clapping...respect of an opposite team fan that acknowledges class
We acknowledged their legend by playing utd so in return got the same for ours. It was nothing more than a testimonial. How many testimonials do you see booing in? It was nevilles day so all smiles around.

If we took on any other non serie A team in their testimonial, the reaction would be no different. As I said, i know way too many utd fans with living in england, maybe the other english forumers could testify elsewise but almost certainly never had a single half pleasant comment for DP. The press never says anything nice about italians either, it just happened to be a testimonial and no matter what fans come to enjoy a game and enjoy their legends day and not see it for its competetive streak.

Both!

I can kind of understand the Man Utd bit, I never really realised how much respect they have for Juventus since the games we played at the end of the 90s. I've evolved into a fan of Gary Neville primarily though, he loves Juve.

What gives you that impression of Conte?
I'm sure Alex can still offer to this team, not as a starter because our starting eleven is a winning eleven, but I can't understand why Conte has totally written Alex off in Serie A games, even for a few minutes against small teams, even when the team is winning. Juve need to learn how to move on without Del Piero, I can understand this but playing Ale more often especially in a team where none of the attackers is having an extraordinary season is not harmful. Conte doesn't want Del Piero in the team next season and I'm sure what Agnelli announced back then had a lot to do with Conte's wish.

Dissing Del Piero is not cool, but come on. What would the great man himself do or say to such people? He'd rise above it. Cause he's a class act.
Everyone has the right to express their opinions and in my opinion, Virtual is an idiot.
