Exactly. Of course Del Piero wants to play, the manager is the one who needs to tell him he's not fit or doesn't deserve to play if the manage believes that. Then the manager will be judged on his decision. I don't think Capello had a problem benching Del Piero. The issue is the same as it is with every player at the club, they should be hungry to play every game but then the manager's decision is final.
