Thats why I said he's no Beckham. He's too class too join a club like LA Galaxy when he's playing at the highest level performing on top. LA suits Beckham where he can join Milan on loan for 60days :howler: and says he's playing for the biggest club in Italy and that they can still win the league.

Ale is just too class for that.
Ale is the class itself :juventus:

God save the king :delpiero: ..***..
We are satisfied both with the match result and our way of handling the game and above all with having passed to the next round.

Now we have to concentrate on the championship, next match is on the 18th of January against Lazio at 20.30 (postponed game).

See you soon.

Cobolli: Alex would resist £100m
Friday 16 January, 2009

Juventus President Giovanni Cobolli Gigli assures he wouldn’t sell Alessandro Del Piero or Gigi Buffon “even for £100m.”

The questions around Manchester City’s 'indecent proposal’ to Milan for Kaka have caught up all of world football.

Juve were called upon, as City had reportedly shown similar interest in their goalkeeper Buffon back in the summer.

“We have never received any offer for Buffon,” assured Cobolli Gigli. “As for Del Piero, he is the star and central column of Juve and would not be remotely interested in leaving Turin.

“No, we would not sell him, not even for £100m. These figures, especially at this moment when the world and football should be reconsidering its finances, are just illogical.”

The Bianconeri are in the thick of the Scudetto race and reduced the gap from Inter to four points, while they thrashed Catania 3-0 midweek to reach the Coppa Italia quarter-finals.

“We played good football against Catania, but on Sunday it all begins again from scratch with Lazio,” said the President.

“I would count Milan in the title race, too. Inter have a remarkable group of players and I’d describe them as a football aircraft carrier.

“However, Juventus have proved they are a real team unit with determination, class, a great locker room unity and excellent tactician.”

i really don't think too many clubs would want ale now, mainly due to age, not that he isn't a great player, more to the fact that to juventus he is priceless, and any bid would have to be stupidly large and therefore not worth it to the club buying

He would not play the way he does at any other club anyway. The way Alex plays is for his love to the jersey and I am sure it is the only jersey he loves.
