How could I not be :D :ultra:

Ok so last season you bet 7 from free plays excluding PKs and FK and he did manage that easily.

Now you've increased your bet to 10. I'll get that you have more confidence in DP this season than last season. :D

He has scored 1 from free play (Artmedia) and 1 from free kick (Zenit). So 9 to equal the bet and 10 to beat it ;)
Respect mutual.

Artmedia are not in Serie A though, so 10 to go.

How many did he score from free play last season in Serie A?

^ Wow man, wow... you're so fuckin' lame..

Stop with this bullshit already, free play, free kick, it doesn't fuckin make any difference, like scoring from a fk is easy or smth, a lot of teams would kill to have someone who could score from set-pieces.

Get a life, for FFS, man... jeez

A bit touchy aren't we!

I just asked how many goals he scored from free play.

I at least want the best from him: and that means rationing his match play.
If you tho k differently just put it in writing.

Yes, you're missing one. But only one! There was a PK against Empoli in the Coppa. (5-2)

But He scored double from free play against Lazio, against Palermo (these 4 by the left foot); He scored against Inter in Coppa (also the left; I think 8 goals by the left at the end) He scored Hatrik on play against Atalanta. He scored against AC Milan on play he scored against Cagliari on play. And what to say about his great assits, against Livorno, against Napoli (what a lovely one).
24 goals (including 17 from free play) and 8 assists dont tell enough about such a great season!!

He used him well enough last season. There's no reason he wouldn't do the same this season.
I don't think he really did. He prefered Iaquinta at the bigning. I cannot understund how a player like Alex could be left on the bench against Fiorentina and AC Milan, especially against Milan cauz he had played very well against Palermo the week before (2 gols and 1 great assist). Ranieri did not use Alex that good.
We just don't have a coach "da Juve"

I disagree. Del piero was having a very hard time at the beggining of last season and he had to be subbed while IQ was banging them in every single game. H was on red hot form.

He wasn't physically fit in the first part of the season but then he was sublimein the second part of the season, that's why Ranieri played him.

Ranieri went wrong on a lot of decisions last season, however, ALe was just not one of them.

No, not touchy, just a lil' annoyed with your lame cynicism, and desperation to be somewhat original...

Chill out man, have you ever just sat down and enjoyed the fact that we're watching our 34 year old living legend delighting us with his class week in week out?

We should all just stop questioning him already... he's way passed that, mate. Let him to his thing, enjoy the show ;)

That's why I want him at his best on the crunch games, although there is a strong case for letting someone else try there luck at the freekicks. Has he lost his touch?
nedved can hit them, so can camo, but i think del piero is better than them, he always seems to come close anyway, del piero has a habit of scoring a freekick when we really need a goal, but i do think every now and again nedved/camo should have a chance,

:agree: He is better. Still one of the best. And yes, he often scores a freekick in important matches (Inter is the favorite victim!)
