he did well. Was doing classic magic. you know drifting out wide dribbling players and crossing. Wasn't his best performance of the season, but he did well. had 2-3 brilliant touches on the ball. Overall a satisfying performance from him imo.
He was silently good. Instead of doing fancy flicks he made sure that each pass he made went to his man and he played great balls out wide. He also delivered the free kick which set up the first goal.
It wasn't a mega performance by Alex. He wasn't bad at all but he wasn't brilliant either.
But what makes me happy is that he played 90 minutes and he didn't look tired at all in last minutes.
He looks like a different player compared to Ale from the opening 10 rounds of the season. Better physical condition, speed, confidence.
I think he can really make a difference in the second part of serie A and Ranieri won't have to substitute him after 50 or 60 minutes because he'll be able to play full 90 with same tempo.
thoughts about his performance at siena? I thought he was his usual brilliant self. He executes so many aspects of the game so easily, a couple of his passes were blocked, but Siena was marking very agressively too.
because many goal.com writers are unreliable fools.
and not just because of the del Piero thing. They make so many mistakes in their articles and news you start to wonder if the writers and editors know anything about football.
