If Conte is not coming, this guy deserves another year. Afterall he took over highly dysfunctional team that had struggled entire season to keep the lead, that had conceded 7 goals in Motta's last 2 games. To change this from the get go and over the course of 9 games to secure the CL is an accomplishment. He averaged 2 pts per game which is the highest of any coach since the last time we won the title. Well done Igor.
I fear this is simply due to new manager syndrome. Once it wears off he will flop.

His insistence to keep play Kelly at CB instead of calling up, I don't know, a 16 year old from our Primavera or a Next Gen CB is reason enough this guy shouldn't be the manager.

I understand we had an injury crisis at CB but with Kelly offering negative play at the position continually, even a 16 year old playing CB would be better because we would know their mistakes were due to experience or being undeveloped.

With Kelly, its because we know he's a retard.

Really? I cant think of any manager that would give a chance to some 16 yo without any experience at top level. We should not have been in a position to rely on Kelly. As the others pointed out, insistence on playing Nico, Dusan is more of a concern along with a fact that effect of a new manager wears off over time. Its a gamble but what are the alternatives atm? Palladino, Italiano, Cesc?

How is it cope when I wanted Tudor over Conte to begin with? Continue begging for the guy that don’t care about your club.
Yeah but let's instead keep a shit coach because he respects the club.

And I don't even think that Conte disrespects Juve. It's just that we he wanted a bigger project that we obviously can't promise. So not only we'll have a shit coach but most likely attract the players of same caliber.

Apparently Napoli can get big players while at this stage we're looking for a coach that will be happy having Kelly and others in the team

Like Conte would’ve been any different. He ages like milk wherever he goes.
He litterally won a league title immediately EVERY single club he coached in, except for a cursed by gypsies Spurs.

How in the hell can you utter the words would Conte be any different to a Tudor who has a decade of being nothing but interim short term coach every where he goes?

Obviously conte is more proven, he’s also proven to not stick around anywhere for too long, which was my point. We would be looking for another manager as soon as he started his traditional exit strategy.

Tudor has never had the opportunity to manage a club as big as the ones Conte has so it’s stupid to compare their CVs. But Conte was also a relative nobody (manager wise) when Juve hired him. Tudor has grinded for this opportunity, he deserves it. And unlike Conte, he was there when this club needed him the most.

Agree, even if I would have jumped on Conte bandwagon if he signed here, Tudor deserves his chance.

He shat his pants vs Venezia just another poor jabroni.

We sat back and invited the relegated Venezia to draw the game. It’s always the same - I’d rather Mancini than this guy… showed absolutely nothing but rocky balboa speeches

All convenient biased nonsense.

There's huuuuge gulf of competence between them. Not even worth addressing. It's self explanatory.
Lol yeh I don’t mind Tudor staying, and I think he did a lot better with us than many here give him credit for, but saying he’s better or on a similar level to conte is just mind-boggling.

Still don’t want a jabroni like Pioli or a myth like Mancini tho. Both would probably attain similar or even worse results than Igor but with the added bonus of a longer and more expensive contract.

There seems to be this narrative that Tudor is just a rah rah cheerleader type manager, but he showed a more functional modern setup (plus the ability to implement it) in a month or whatever than Motta did his entire time here. They pressed like crazy and never stopped trying to go forward. These are staples of his past sides, so he has a clear playing style. He also got more out of his players than Motta did, and seemed to understand everyone’s best position. I have some questions about his defensive abilities, but he also had very little to work with. I mean just look at the backline he was forced to play in the last game of the season.

Give him a healthier/more talented squad and a proper amount of time, and I think he would win a lot. He’s never had the opportunity to manage a bigger club, I think he’s earned that chance now. It’s so hard to find a manager that players respond to, we shouldn’t take it for granted.
People tend to forget that he was forced to play cautiously in the last 4-5 games because it was to much at stake. The first 1-2 games you could see he wants the team to press and choke the life out of his opponents and NEVER EVER threw a player under the bus.

You are most likely correct in that the last 5 games were way too crucial to be experimenting with concepts alien to the current lot of players.

Give this man a real chance.
Every time the club needed him, he stepped up and did the job to the best of his ability. No drama, just commitment.

Yeah, Conte has the resume. No one’s denying that. But let’s not forget, the guy has turned his back on us more than once. For someone who’s supposed to be a club legend, he sure doesn’t act like it. The loyalty just isn’t there.

The real issue here is the management. Elkan is weak and seems to be acting out of panic half the time. There’s no long-term vision. No clear plan. It’s all reactionary.
What we need is strategy. Either go all-in and get a top-tier coach who matches the ambitions and history of the club, or back Tudor properly. Give him the support, surround him with real professionals who give a damn about the club, and stop playing musical chairs with the staff every season.
Now that Cunte has once again shown his true colors, the ball’s in the club’s court. What are they going to do to flip the script and actually compete next season?

When I hear Conte was plan A, B, and C… it’s just embarrassing. No backup plan? No vision? It screams mismanagement. We deserve better.
