Everything is okay until now and our team play has progressed plus the players love him and we actually don’t defend after a scored goal. If he keeps this up we have to keep him and give him a season I don’t care how it goes he earned it (it’s a big IF)

Doubt he'll be here next season... I have a feeling we'll try and reel in a certainty with Conte. But seeing how Giuntoli rolled over for Motta, I'm afraid that will fuck up the budget again

Juventus are considering keeping Igor Tudor on permanently. The players have shown a lot of desire and determination in these first three games with the Croatian coach at the helm. With the season approaching its end, Tudor can hopefully start planning for next season being the coach of the club of his dreams..

Arriving with the label of the ferryman sewn on him, Igor Tudor at Juventus initially seemed like he would only stay until the Club World Cup . Now, however, the wind has changed at Continassa: after only three games, the coach has brought the club back to where it should be and the compactness of the group is back. If the Champions League is achieved and the Croatian continues to show what has been seen in these first games, the will would be to keep him. In fact, at the moment everyone is happy with his work.

Good play needs to be accompanied by results if he wants to stay for another year. So far he had 1 big test against Roma. Clubs like Lecce or Genoa we need to beat 9/10 times. What I do like is our approach to the games, the number of chances we create, attacking patterns that we have not seen for years, the level of aggressiveness. He needs to work on closing the games. We dont need drama in the last 10 minutes after being far better team in the first 80. Tudor has that old Juve spirit before we turned into JJ and he can transmit it to players. I like that he is active on the sidelines, shouting instructions, demanding for more urgency when we fall back into sleep mode. For the remaining of the season he is a great pick. For anything more than that, as Ive said results and overall display matter.

Or it's just new coach effect that usually lasts dozen of games and then all gets back to old shit.
Happened too many times to not be considered a possibility. I wouldn't rush with conclusion after only three games.

Thats my fear as well. Im cautiously optimistic. Only 3 games in, 2 against sides we had to win. I wish we replaced Motta sooner with Igor so he would get proper run of games. 9 games is still too little imo. He really has to lead the team extraordinary in the remaining games. CL qualifications for me is not enough. We need too see his imprint on the team.

Unless we go on a crazy winning streak from here, playing good football and winning games relatively comfortably, I think we need to go for a top coach in the summer. No more half measures.

CL qualification alone should not be the metric to keep him. The teams below us are inconsistent and we could easily end up in a situation where we are making top 4 because of favorable results going our way.

Mentality of the team when they are travelling away to games at Bologna and Lazio becomes important as well.

Based on what I saw in the last 20 mins against Lecce, I'm still not convinced.

with this logic, the club would’ve never hired Conte or Lippi. Not saying Tudor is Conte/Lippi, but what defines a top coach? How do we know Tudor isn’t one? He hasn’t had the opportunity to manage a top club yet.

What a defines a top coach? Well a coach that can get results for starters because we are at a point where we need to guarantee results to secure the financial future of the club. We would be better placed to achieve that with a proven, experienced coach.

How do we know Tudor isn't one? Well he's been coaching football teams for more than a decade now mostly coaching obscure/mid table teams. He's not someone that popped out as coaching prodigy in the last couple of years or something. And if not for his JJ past, he would've never landed a job here. His body of work as a coach so far has been pretty average.

It's fine to be optimistic but I'd like to tread with caution for now. Motta brought that early enthusiasm initially and we all saw how that turned out.

True. However, I don't think we should be the testing playground but rather chase somebody already proven at a high level.

I don't have anything against Tudor but him handling several matches guarantee nothing. We already lost too much and I don't think we're in a position to risk more.

I like Tudor both as a player and a coach, but I still don't believe we are going to continue with these results in the long run. It will fall apart eventually just like the past several years. I'm also not a fan of this 3-4-3 system which will probably become a rigid 3-5-1-1 over time once the situation starts to fall apart.

That said, I absolutely do not want that son of a bitch Mancini here, nor basically any of the old farts in Serie A, including Gasperini or Conte.

Regardless if even he does a good run, if conte is available, it’s no brainer to go for him. Look what he has done with has beens like lukaku and mctominay. There is hope still for vlahovic , Luiz and Koop with conte.

I agree with everyone that a top coach is needed. Conte obviously just because of way he can squeeze the best out of lazy players

What we need is to sign Fabian Ruiz and Kane. Then hopefully we sign Conte.
