It's no coincidence that as soon as Mckennie joined the club, we stopped winning major trophies. Until then we won 9 Serie A titles in a row. To make matters worse, as to prevent us from even having a remote chance of winning, we brought Weah. That was simply too much. You could have had a team of CR, Messi, Zidane, Pirlo, Nedved, DP, Nesta, Chiellini in their prime but even they would not be able to make up for the lack of any playing ability of the 2 American amateurs. We have become a laughing stock since they joined. Its time to clean up the house.
It's no coincidence that as soon as we started buying Croatian players, our dominance in Europe was over and we became perennial losers. It all started with buying Boksic after our 1996 Champions League Win. Of course, a year later we were humiliated by Dortmund with Boksic being a massive flop in the final. Fast forward to 2003 when this thread's namesake was on the pitch for the Milan final, but had to come off early because he couldn't take the pressure, so we had to waste a sub. Needless to say, we never had a chance in that final. Then fast forward to 2017 where, while he scored a goal, we still were humiliated by Real Madrid while Mandzukic was on the pitch. It was considered so much of a drubbing that they basically stopped playing, including Mandzukic. Even with Nedved, DP, Chiellini, Barzagli, Tevez, Vidal, Pirlo, et al, we didn't stand a chance in any of those finals. We have become a laughing stock since they started joining. Its time to clean up the house of Croat.
