I really don't know, to be honest with you. I think that it would be safe to say that I would only support the Italian and United States national teams. The first due to my heritage, and the second due to my place of birth.

I know that several people here know that I have an affection for Fiorentina, but that was because of Baggio. And the situation with Baggio is that he is a symbol of Italy more so than a symbol of an individual club.

I'm a 4th Generation Juventino. This has been passed down to me from my family which has supported Juventus since the 1930's, for reasons that I will never know, and to be honest, doesn't concern me in the least as to why they started supporting them that long ago.

The only thing that matters to me is that I'm a Juventino and will always be one.

It's a lot harder for me to say who I would support if there were no Juve, so I would say that I wouldn't support any club team.

I'm sorry, but the Juve Tifosi DNA has been embedded in me since birth.

In fact, I can confidently say that my support of Juve is not due to an individual player, individual relative, or moment in time, unlike all of my other sporting alliegances

Ditto except without the Viola part.

I suffered a little when Fiorentina declared bankruptcy, I'll admit it. A team with such a history should have never been put in that situation. Bad ownership really did them in. I've always loved the city, the passion of the fans, and they've had some great players come through the pipeline. It doesn't really make sense to anybody, but Baggio just captivated my heart and soul when I first saw him there, and it's stuck with me ever since.

But it certainly isn't a 50/50 split. Not even close. I root for Fiorentina against everyone else except for Juve, and in situations where a victory for them would put Juve in a bad position.

I was probably a bit too young to ever be awed by Baggio, my first real recollection of juve was when they lost the final to Dortmund, I remember beforehand my dad took me to the sports shop and brought me a juventus badge so I really felt like a fan. I remember the whole game because I cried through most of it but even as a kid who had just turned 6 a few days before the final I was overawed by d.p's consolation goal, I knew how special it was even then. It has been imprinted in my memory and Juve have stuck ever since.
